Why is this election so important? The future of Archuleta County is determined by actions taken today. Our children’s and our grandchildren’s future is very important to me. We can keep things status quo or we can move into the future with new ideas that will bring economic growth and stability to Archuleta County. We can think “outside the box” and immediately begin investing in our long term future by doing things now that will reap big rewards for Archuleta County well into the future. I have done it over and over in private business as well as Organizations. I will bring a common sense business philosophy to this position. I am ready to roll up my sleeves, dig in and get to work for all of the residents of Archuleta County.

In these tough economic times, I will bring 38 years of common sense, hands-on, entrepreneurial experience to the job with me every day. I know how to run a business and I know how to make it prosper. It takes hard work and having a “Can do” attitude. I love a challenge and I won’t give up. It’s empowering the people and drawing on the incredible amount of talent we have in this Community. Teamwork will accomplish unbelievable things when individuals are given free reins to dream, create a vision and then together accomplish great things.
